November 1, 2021-The Charlotte Hornets today collaborated with LendingTree, their official jersey patch partner, to launch a brand new Nike NBA City Edition jersey, which will be worn during the 2021-22 NBA season. As part of the NBA’s 75th anniversary season, Nike and the NBA tried to pay tribute to the team’s most iconic moments. Through the design of the city version of the jersey, each team’s “hottest songs” were compiled into a “mixed tape”. The Nike NBA Hornets City Edition jersey for the 2021-22 season combines the retro elements of previous jerseys and some non-jersey design clues. It tells the team and brand from the beginning of the 1988-89 season to the return of the Hornets in the summer of 2014. Lott, to this day.
